Questions
Before you reserve.
Do I need Victron gear?
No. Mr. Crow reads your battery's BMS on its own. Victron chargers and a SmartShunt add solar, alternator and in/out numbers, but they're optional.
Will it drain my house battery?
No. He has his own small rechargeable battery and isn't wired into your system at all. Recharge him over USB-C.
Which batteries work?
Today: GoKWh and JBD / Xiaoxiang-based BMSs (used by many lithium brands). JK, Daly, LiTime / Redodo and Victron Smart Lithium are next. Tell us yours when you reserve so we know what to add first.
Is there an app?
No app. Setup is a web page he serves over his own Wi-Fi, opened in your phone's browser. After setup, the screen is the whole point.
How often does he update?
You choose: daytime check-ins every 5 to 60 minutes, nighttime every 30 minutes to 4 hours. Press a button any time for a fresh reading.
What does $1 get me?
It holds the founder price for launch day. You'll get one email when the campaign goes live. If you change your mind, the dollar is refundable.
